The Greenbelt Farmers Market is thrilled to announce that it has obtained tax exempt, charitable status (501(c)(3), which means that any donations to the market are fully tax deductible and we are now free to apply for grants to help operate the market. Achieving this status was a difficult process. Not many farmers markets can qualify. Please remember to bring your own shopping bags to save on plastic and you may also return your clean containers to any of the vendors to help keep their costs down. We hope to see you next Sunday in the west parking lot of Roosevelt Center. |
